The famous NaNoWriMo (also known as National Novel Writing Month) started today, and I, like many other authors, have begun writing my project. What is it about, you may ask? Well, that's easy! Here's my pitch:

Short- It was the bracelet’s fault...

Long- When Jake Reynolds gave his girlfriend, Bianca Outridge a handmade bracelet, everyone, including Bianca, thought that they’d be together forever.
But that was before she knew his secret.
After the two of them get into an argument, Jake ends up killing Bianca, and now he’s on the run.
Meanwhile, Bianca’s ghost wants revenge, as well as her best friend, Faith.
Detective Jefferson won’t stop until he catches his man.
And Bianca’s little sister, Selena is closer to solving the crime than the detective.
The first one to find the bracelet will win.

So far, I have somewhere over a thousand words (not 100% sure since I wrote a bit at school and didn't have time to e-mail it home.)

So, I want to hear about your NaNo projects! I'm all ears!

And my family has turned to chaos. My brothers are fighting constantly, and refuse to sit still, my dad is constantly at work, and my dog won't let me out of his sight. Only my mom and I seem to be sane.
The problem with this is, it's next to impossible to work under these conditions. I can't even write to music without being distracted, never mind my brothers screaming at each other in the next room and my dog taking up half of my chair.
And because of this, my project still hasn't gotten past the second chapter.
I think I'm going to have to lock my brothers out of the house if I want to get any work done.
Then again, things will probably get better once school resumes. Then my brothers won't be as bored, and my dog will be mad at me for leaving him at home all day, so he won't want to sit with me.
I never thought I'd say this, but...
I can't wait for school to start again!
